Researchers are invited to submit papers for the workshop New Developments in the Economics of Air Pollution, which will take place on 13–14 October 2026 in Mannheim, Germany.

The workshop aims to bring together leading scholars and promising early-career researchers to present and discuss cutting-edge research on the economics of air pollution. It will provide a forum for exchanging ideas on new theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented approaches to understanding the causes, impacts, and mitigation of air pollution.

Authors are invited to submit their papers by email to submissions@heal-project.eu. Please indicate in your submission whether you are willing to participate as a discussant. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by mid-August 2026.

Presenters and discussants will receive accommodation in Mannheim for up to three nights, as well as a conference dinner. A limited amount of need-based travel funding is available, with priority given to researchers with limited research funds. Mannheim is easily accessible by train and via Frankfurt Airport.
