The Congress of the Latin American and the Caribbean Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (LAERE2025) will take place on March 19-21, 2025. The conference will be held in person in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia, including some hybrid events as part of the programme. The conference is hosted by the Department of Economics at Universidad de los Andes and co-organized by the Department of Economics at Universidad de los Andes in collaboration with the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management – JEEM. Keynote speakers include Ben Groom, Dragon Capital Chair in Biodiversity Economics at the University of Exeter, Paulina Oliva from the University of Southern California, and Juan Pablo Rud from Royal Holloway, University of London.
