The LEDi and CESAER are pleased to announce the 13th Annual Conference of the French Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (FAERE 2026), to be held on 10–11 September 2026 at Université Bourgogne Europe in Dijon (France).

Conference Overview

The FAERE annual conference aims to foster the production and dissemination of research in environmental and resource economics. It brings together researchers working on both theoretical and applied topics, including—but not limited to—food systems, maritime issues, energy, transportation, climate, and biodiversity.

Call for Papers

Researchers are invited to submit full papers in all areas of environmental and natural resource economics. Submissions may be theoretical or empirical.

Authors will have the opportunity to indicate whether their contribution relates to Mediterranean issues or energy topics, for consideration in dedicated sessions organised in collaboration with MEDAERE and FAEE.

Submissions must be uploaded via the conference submission portal.

Fees

The conference fee is €150, covering conference materials, meals, refreshments, coffee breaks, a social event, and the conference dinner.

Participants who are members of FAERE (2026) benefit from a reduced fee of €90.
FAERE annual membership fees are €50 (regular) and €20 (reduced) for students, PhD candidates, retirees, and unemployed participants.

Presenters are expected to act as discussants and should send their papers to their assigned discussant at least two weeks before the conference.
