The 8th Nordic Annual Environmental and Resource Economics Workshop (NAERE 2026) will take place on 11–12 June 2026 at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) in Stockholm, Sweden. The workshop is organized by the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE).

The Workshop

NAERE aims to bring together researchers and doctoral students working in environmental, resource, and energy economics. The workshop provides a platform for presenting ongoing research, receiving feedback, and fostering collaboration within the environmental and resource economics community.

The event welcomes both theoretical and applied contributions, and submissions from researchers both within and outside the Nordic countries are encouraged.

Call for Papers

Researchers are invited to submit papers or extended abstracts for presentation at the workshop. Extended abstracts (2–3 pages) are welcome, although preference may be given to completed papers.
