Elections 2025

2025 EAERE election closed on 19th June 2025.

For the position of President-Elect, the candidates were Ian Bateman and Karen Pittel. Karen Pittel was elected with 48.95% of votes. Her two-year presidential term will begin in January 2028. She will serve as President-Elect in 2026 and 2027 and for other two years as Past-President, at the end of the presidential term.
Ian Bateman was voted by 46.08% of those voting. Blank ballots were 4.97%.

For the position of ordinary Council members, the set of candidates was comprised of Lassi Ahlvik, Efthymia Kyriakopoulou, Ruslana Rachel Palatnik, and Sergio Vergalli. Lassi Ahlvik and Efthymia Kyriakopoulou were elected, with 49.33% and 55.64% of votes respectively. They will serve for four years beginning in January 2026.
Ruslana Rachel Palatnik and Sergio Vergalli were voted by 24.86% and 29.25% of voting members respectively. Blank ballots were 9.75%.
