MAR REGUANT
Mar Reguant is already a highly recognized researcher at the intersection of environmental economics and IO. She uses high frequency data to study the impact of environmental regulation on electricity markets, and to quantify the impact of carbon trading on energy intensive industries.
In her recent work, she explores the application of machine learning to the energy efficiency context. This award recognizes her excellent contributions to our better understanding of the challenges of the coming energy transition around the world.
