The European Job Market for Environmental and Resource Economists aims to offer the two sides of the market - institutions with open positions and candidates looking for a job - both a virtual and a physical place to meet and look for the best match. Candidates, universities, public and private institutions, and corporations are invited to apply to participate in the Job Market.
Candidates' profiles and information on open positions are posted in the EAERE website throughout the whole year. Candidates and institutions that intend to physically participate in the Job Market by organising job interviews at the 20th EAERE Annual Conference http://www.eaere2013.org/ are listed in the same page. Interviews must be organised by the participants in the market directly. A limited number of rooms situated within the Conference venue is available for Job Market interviews: institutions can book them. Rooms are allocated among the different institutions that apply on a first-come first-serve basis. Candidates pariticipating to EAERE's Annual Conference, can also mark their papers as "job market paper" in the paper submission process. The list of "job market papers" will be included in the Conference programme book, giving more visibility to candidates.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates. Candidates are invited to submit the candidates' form. Candidates' profiles are posted in the EAERE website free of charge. Candidates have the option of expressing interest in a given job opening by contacting institutions directly.
Institutions. Institutions with open positions are invited to submit the institution's form. Announcements are posted in the EAERE website free of charge for EAERE members. A fee of €100 for every posting is required for non-members. Payments can be done by credit card, bank transfer or Western Union Money Transfer. If you choose to pay by credit card, you will be redirected to a separate and secure page.
Write us at firstname.lastname@example.org for any information but take into account that EAERE does not organise appointments between the two sides of the market. Those who are organising interviews at the 19th Annual Conference must register in the Conference through the Conference website. The registration fees keep the Conference going and allow the candidates and institutions to participate in the scientific sessions, social events, meals, and any events organised within the Conference.
