EAERE ELECTIONS 2011 - EAERE new Council Members

The election for the President and two new members of the Council started on September 19th, 2011 and finished on November 15th, 2011.
27.77% of the EAERE membership took part in the election for President, and 27.87% took part in the election for Council member.

For the position of President Anil Markandya was elected with 55.99% of votes. His two-year presidential term will begin in January 2014. He will serve as President-Elect in 2012 and 2013 and for other two years as Past-President, at the end of the presidential term.
For the position of Council members Timo Goeschl and Phoebe Koundouri were elected, with 28.88% and 26.24% of votes respectively. They will serve for four years beginning in January 2012.
EAERE would like to thank all the candidates for participating in the elections and wishes the new President and the new Council members every success.
We would like to thank also all those members who took part in the elections.
